Well, I've only been back in Columbia for less than a month and I already have a job interview at Mizzou. It's Monday. *fingers crossed*

Saw Rush last night in St. Louis again.

Last night marked the 10th time I've seen them live (first time was in 1980) and they just keep getting better. Three guys in their 50's who can show these young "bands" to not only get off of their lawn, but show them how to put on a good show.

The set relied mainly on their current release entitled "Snakes and Arrows." I think 8 of the 13 songs were played from it. The rest of the set was a lot of older material mostly from Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures. The only songs from the 90's that made it in the set was "Dreamline" from Roll the Bones. They did dig out "Passage to Bangkok" (from 2112) and even "Circumstances" (from Hempisheres).

I thought the set could've used a little more diversity that what was given. I like Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, and even the new CD, but would've just liked to have heard more.

Yes, there was an awesome solo and yes, they did play "Tom Sawyer." LOL

You and your Rush, hehe. I'm glad you had a good time.

Good luck in your interview, Sweetpea!
